Policy about endowment

Medal Policies


Can be instituted by Institutions or individuals upon donation of a sum of not less than Rupees One Lakh fifty thousand only.

Can be instituted by Institutions or individuals upon donation of a sum of not less than Rupees sixty thousand only.

  1. Special medals for excellent academic performance by Girl Student, Most Outstanding Student who has shown excellence in teaching as well as the extra and co-curricular activities with donation of Rupees Seventy thousand only each.
  2. Apart from the above, special medals can be instituted as per the wish of the donor with donation of Rupees Sixty thousand only.
  3. The Medal to be awarded shall have inscribed on it the name of the medal and the name of the recipient.
  4. The donor shall be informed the name of the student selected for the award by the College.

Special Institutional Scholarships

Scholarships/Fellowships/Ereeships for deserving and meritorious Under-graduate and/or .Post-graduate students can be instituted by Institutions or individuals or a group of alumni on donating a sum not less than Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only.
The College shall pool together the interest earned from the donations for Scholarships in a year and shall award such number of Scholarships Freeships/Fellowships to deserving students as the Academic Council may decide in any particular year. The main criterion for all such awards of Scholarships/Freeships/ Fellowship shall be merit coupled with means. The decision of the Selection Committee as approved by the Principal shall be final.

Lecture Series Policies

The College also proposes to organize endowment lectures in honour of the person the donor would like. For this, the donor has to make a contribution of Rs. Five Lakh only. The series of lectures delivered would be published in the form of a book for under circulation.

Student Welfare Fund

  1. Institutions, individuals or group of alumni can make contributions at periodical intervals of a sum of not less than Rupees Ten Thousand only exclusively to the student welfare fund.
  2. The amount in the fund shall be exclusively utilized for the welfare of Students and the Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the students (including travel expenses) in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by a Selection Committee.
  3. The administration of the money in the fund shall be based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee and with the approval of the Principal.
  4. Matching grants, if any, received from the U.G.C. in this regard may be added to the Fund.

Physical facility Policies

(a) Institutions and individuals may make a one-time contribution for construction of Buildings or floor/wings of the Buildings like Hostels/Computer Centre / Digital Library / innovation Centre/ Incubation Centre.

(b) Institutions and individuals can make a one-time contribution of not less than Rupees Ten Lakhs only to the College for providing any or part of the proposed facility.
